JODI: Russia remains world's 2nd largest oil producer in January
MOSCOW, Mar 18 (PRIME) -- Russia retained its position of the world’s second largest oil producer after the U.S. in January, when its output grew by 1.8% on the month to 9.489 million barrels per day, the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI) said in a report on Thursday.
The U.S. produced 10.955 million barrels per day, down by 1%. Saudi Arabia’s output grew by 1.4% to 9.103 million barrels per day.
